Sankara Eye Foundation (SEF) is the Global Leader providing FREE Eye Care Services. Having learned about SEF and its eye-opening work, we, Anandam Lives Music, decided to produce a boutique concert series with 14 artists dedicated to spreading the voice of SEF and creating awareness of the transformational impact of the Gift of Vision provided to over 2,200,000 patients. Thus came into being our NETRA Concert, Anandam Lives Music’s humble offering to raise awareness of the life-changing work by SEF, while simultaneously raising funds for continuing this service towards total eradication of curable blindness as soon as possible. We have 8 vocal concerts and 1 Bharatanatyam recital.
Just watching these young artists sing and dance will be an inspiration and we hope that this sight for sore eyes will inspire everyone to make a generous donation to SEF. We look forward to surpassing the conservative goal we have set – $6,000 to fund 200 eye surgeries. What a joy to open our hearts and share our blessings with others who so desperately need this Gift of Vision! Following the completion of NETRA, ALM raised over $20,000, which was used to provide free eye surgeries for 341 patients and fund the construction of the new Sankara Eye Fondation eye hospital in rural India. Thank you all our artists and viewers for contributing to the Gift of Vision!
